Image Processing and QR Code Application Method for Construction Safety Management

Construction safety accidents occur due to a combination of factors. Even minor accident that could have been treated as simple injury can lead serious or death, depending on when and where it occurred. Currently, methods for tracking worker behavior manage such construction are being studied. However, applying the site, various additional elements (e.g., sensors, transmitters, wearing equipment, control systems) must be additionally installed managed required. The cost installation management these factors increases in proportion size site number targets managed. In addition, application new equipment rules lowers work efficiency workers. this paper, following contents described: (1) system overview, (2) image processing-QR code-based target recognition methodology, (3) object location discrimination technique geometric transformation.
